With all the nice weather we've been having (finally!) I've developed a bit of Spring Fever! I've always loved this season because it promises that the warmer days of summer are just around the corner. The girls and I are celebrating spring with weekly picnics and tea parties in our backyard and afternoon walks to the park.
This past weekend, we loaded up the truck and trekked the two hour drive up to Chapel Hill for our annual bluebonnet pictures. This would be Georgia Ann's first year to tag along - and Sara was VERY excited to show her how to properly jump around in the wildflowers. However, to our disappointment, we were a few weeks early and only saw a few small patch along the sides of the road. We hope to try again in the next few weeks.
Though, Sara was still hopeful and wanted to at least smell the flowers so we stopped and I snapped a few pictures.
