After taking a week off, I was excited to get back to shooting and was blessed with this gorgeous family for my first shoot! The little one is just so adorable and had the BEST expressions! Thank y'all for putting up with the Houston heat. It was worth it, don't you think? :)
These little sun princesses were too much fun! We had a great time soaking up the warm morning rays and dipping our little toes in the water!

Woo-hoo!! Summer is HERE!! If you've followed the blog for a while, you know that this is my absolute favorite season. I love the lounging around in the hot sun, jumping into a cool, refreshing pool, eating more than my fill of snow-cones and popsicles (though this year, I'm going to try my hand at a few of these 'adult only' poptails!!), and just being with family. My girls are pretty stoked about it as well...

I got to meet the cutest two year old boy this weekend! He was such a sweet, fun, and energetic kid! Prior to our session, his mom let me know that he LOVES sports. But, I was not expecting such a coordinated two year old. This kid could hit a moving ball, throw a football and score a 'goal' with a soccer ball. I am majorly impressed! But, aside from all that, he has one of those smiles that is truly contagious. I dare you to look at these and not smile back!

I've been so blessed with all the happy babies I've had recently. It is so much fun to show up to a session and just PLAY! Yesterday morning was no exception. We had a great time and this little guy couldn't be any happier. He just made my day!

After a nice, relaxing week off, I'm back to work, full swing with 4 sessions this week. I love it! My first session back was with this lovely family. I don't say this very often (being a loyal Longhorn fan - hook 'em horns!) - but these three make maroon look good! :)

Wow! These past few weeks have been nothing but boys! And, I have to say, being a mother of two very girly girls, I feel somewhat out of my element hanging out with boys. But, it has been a ton of fun! And, these two were no exception. They were a good mixture of sweet, silly and energetic! We staged the session at their grandparents' dock and boats. It was neat to step out of my comfort-zone and try something a little different. I think we pulled it off! :)

Happy, happy, happy! I don't think I've ever met a happier baby! Despite being awfully close to his bedtime, this kiddo was just full of smiles. He was such a joy to hang out with!

I haven't seen this little man since he was seven days old! And, look at that smile! He was fully of energy, joy and charm. We had a ton of fun running around the park Sunday morning! Little M, I hope your first birthday is a fantastic one!!

Dinosaurs were on the brain at this session. Back home, my husband was wrapping up the small details for my daughter's third birthday party - all themed dinosaurs. And, I was hanging out with this adorable family. Lucky for me, the two boys LOVED dinosaurs and were very happy chat with me about them :) They also volunteered to teach me how to 'talk dinosaur' - RAWR! It was a great way to kick off my weekend!

We had a very lovely session Saturday morning. These two dolls met me at a beautiful park bright and early. I love the soft morning glow and am always overjoyed when families take me up on a early morning session. These two girls were so sweet the entire time. Aren't they precious?!?
