Remember this couple from last year? Well, their day was FINALLY here!! They tied the knot on St. Patty's Day. And, we all celebrated with a good food, flowing drinks, a few tears and lots of laughter. Glenda and Ryan, may you always be lucky in love! Congrats you two!!

Can I just say how much FUN I had shooting this wedding? It was actually just the party - the couple eloped on some romantic island and then came back to Houston to throw one fabulous party. The bride is originally from New Orleans, so you know it was a crazy reception. It started off with an awesome New Orleans jazz band - and then quickly turned into a huge dance party. Everyone had such a great time, me included! Mr. and Mrs. Toy - thanks for having me photograph the big day!!

I can't even begin to describe just how wonderful this wedding was. First, the bride and groom picked the beautiful Haak Vineyards to tie the knot. It is just gorgeous out there -- and still so green! And, they were surrounded by a family full of love and laughter. Despite the threat of rain all night and the loss of electricity right before the ceremony was to start, the bride was so peaceful and at ease. I think she knew that with the support of her family and her groom on her arm, every thing would just work out. And it did. The night was full of stories from their childhood, dancing and of course love. It was just perfect. Congrats again K and J!

Eeeeeekkk!! I can't believe I shot my first wedding!! And, wow, what a wedding to be my first. I loved everything about it. These two were the just the nicest people and Mr. Groom was just beaming the entire time. I love when I see a groom who lights up the room when he sees his bride-to-be walking down the aisle. I loved that this event was a family affair with from the small wedding party consisting of only the brother and sister of the bride and groom, to seeing family members pitching in to help decorate, pour drinks and step in whenever they could help. And, I loved how beautiful everything was, from the Bride, herself, the gorgeous venue and the small personalized details seen throughout the reception hall. I'm in love :) Mr. and Mrs. L - thank you so much for including me in your special day. I only wish the best for the two of you - and may your future bring you lots more love.
